Created and matured the SDLC to bring a five year old project back on track
  • Before 2021 there was 0 releases
  • After I came on we moved to two releases, then four and are presently doing two per quarter

I created, coached and developed teams internationally so we can create software around the clock
  • This includes training agile leadership to ensure that the preferred SDLC methodology can be consistently followed

I was able to guide a stalled, multi-million dollar project to launch
  • This not only added to the revenue stream but is a game changer in the marketplace
  • I removed silos while keeping the teams identity, ensured focus on value delivery and properly staffed the division remove the barrier to development

I trained and coached our more mechanically based product group to be more understanding of how software and hardware need to flow to maximize our value
  • This included guiding the team on rethinking how to write feature and initiatives.
  • I also developed the team communications to ensure that their road-map tied back to the hardware portion of the organization

I created and implemented enterprise metrics based on flow and customer value generated

Developed and implemented a methodology for prioritization in our mechanical division
  • This was a mind set shift and instead used metrics to decide where to focus first so we can deliver the products into the market faster
  • Within 3 months there was a 20% reduction in the holding costs and a 40% reduction in customer escapes as a result of being able to prioritize based on value and not estimates or assumptions

Reduced overhead license costs on software programs, about $600,000 per year
  • I created a very simple approval process that allowed us to move at the speed of business while ensuring we did not duplicate costs
  • I also commonized our basic tool sets to reduce overhead license and maintenance costs
